Crafts
I worked as Deputy Editor for Crafts Beautiful magazine, the UK's market-leading craft magazine. In this role, I wrote and edited regular articles, features and step-by-step craft projects. I interviewed people, attended craft workshops and courses to review them, attended both trade and consumer shows, worked on several supplements and free books, moderated the website and forum and have generally kept abreast of the craft industry.

I edited a summer exclusive issue of What Pool & Hot Tub magazine for W H Smith. Built around outdoor summer living, the magazine featured articles about celebrities, swimming, fitness, picnics, summer style, fashion and outdoor furniture, as well as buyers' guides to pools, spas and hot tubs.

I have technical and business experience, having worked for Euromoney Handbooks and Yearbooks and JCA Media Group. I have written for trade magazines such as Executive PA magazine, City PA magazine and Jewellery Focus.
I can ensure concise, clearly written copy to a house style, as well as the ability to re-write or adjust copy to fit space or changes.
